Who Can Join

Anyone age 12 through 18 can join Civil Air Patrol as a cadet.
Adults age 18 and over can join Civil Air Patrol as senior members.

How to Join

We recommend anyone interested in joining CAP come to one of our weekly meetings. Visitors are always welcome, and our staff can help you learn more about CAP and how you can contribute. CAP members come from all walks of life, and there is by no means any requirement to be a pilot or even to fly.

We meet every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at our squadron headquarters located at 2 South 16th Street in Herrin, Illinois.
